Concerts are usually performed at St George’s Church, Dapsang Drive, North Tamborine, however, each year, the orchestra aims to perform a concert, gratis, for the residents of the Roslyn Lodge Retirement Home. Last year, the audience of this concert included the presence of enthusiastic, pillow-perched kindergarten children.
The orchestra is available for public hire at very reasonable rates. For further information, please contact Barbara Lassiter on 0438 775575 or Russell Harden on 0407 110183. Or email us by clicking here.
The entrance fee for all concerts, except the Christmas Carols concert in December, is adults $10.00 - littlies and school children are free. While there is no entrance fee for the Christmas Carols Concert, there is the opportunity to donate to local services such as the Rural Fire Brigade on whom so many residents on the mountain are reliant, or more recently to Drought Relief.
If you can read music and play an instrument (being a bit rusty is OK) come and join us.
